We are FOODIES. Healthy shouldn’t mean you have to sacrifice flavor. If it doesn’t taste good, you won’t eat or drink it. We’ve developed highly nutritious juices, foods and superfood cleanse programs that taste DELICIOUS.
Our juices contain only organic fruits and vegetables; which means you are getting the most nutrient dense juice available. We are incredibly specific about the flavor of our juices so we hand blend every juice to make the most delicious juices possible. Much like an artisan beer, we craft artisan juice.
Why do the juices taste different from day to day? The flavors vary from carrot to carrot or even cucumber to cucumber. Everything depends on how the fruit or vegetable grew and its flavor complex at time of blending.
We source the freshest, organic fruits, vegetables and superfoods from the highest quality suppliers as well as from local farms whenever possible based on seasonal availability.
Every recipe is made from scratch in our kitchen – every salad dressing, superfood snack & ‘bites’, our desserts, nut milks, superfood baked goods and salad toppers are created by our chefs.
We are extremely passionate about health and wellness and are committed to sharing how plant-based foods can heal and transform. We strongly believe in preventative health and that simple changes to one’s daily diet and lifestyle can have a profound effect on how we look, feel and experience life.
Yes, it matters. Especially when dealing with juice. Think about it, there are 3-5 pounds (yes pounds) of produce in one 16oz glass of juice. Consuming that much produce would be difficult to do over the course of a day let alone how much pesticides and insecticides are in juices that are not organic. Yes organic costs more, but we believe you and your health are worth it.
We buy organic and all natural (pesticide and insecticide free) from local farmers as much as possible. There are times, however, when we have to source from other parts of the country or world when local is not available due to seasonal limitations.
We are not vegans or raw foodists but we do believe that we can all benefit from incorporating more vegetables and plant-based foods into our diet. Every body is unique and thrives on a different diet but the power of a dominant plant-based diet is the key to reducing inflammation and helping your body thrive. Our menu is full of delicious plant-based options. Please note for 100% pure vegans, we offer a vegan menu, however, we do offer the superfood bee pollen & raw honey as they both have tremendous health benefits.
“Gluten Free” is quite the buzz, however, gluten free doesn’t always mean good for you. We are proponents of limiting gluten / wheat as much as possible because it causes inflammation and can be stressful on your digestion system.
We do “Gluten Free” a little differently using only highly nutrient dense superfoods instead of high glycemic gluten free alternatives like potato and tapioca starch that spikes your insulin and has zero nutritional value. Our superfood baked breads, protein bites and snacks are made only with nutrient powerhouse superfoods like almond flour, chia, hemp and flax powder. Even our ‘pasta’ dishes are gluten free, made with vegetables like zucchini and carrots.
We are not fans of dairy (at least not milk or cheese). That’s not to say we don’t enjoy an occasional cheese plate here and there with a great glass of wine but the reality is, like gluten, dairy causes inflammation. And inflammation is the root of all disease. So as far as we’re concerned, best to limit it as much as possible. In addition to causing inflammation, milk itself has more than 4 tsp of sugar in an 8 ounce glass.
Where will you get your calcium you ask? From broccoli, kale, quinoa, spinach, legumes, nuts and so many other plant-based sources. So, it goes without saying that we offer only dairy free options and use delicious alternatives such as nut milks. The “eggs” we use in our gluten & dairy free superfoods are actually made using ground flax mixed with homemade sprouted almond milk.
Raw foods are full of nutrients and alive with enzymes. We are proud to say that we have mastered the art of making raw foods taste amazing. We also know that cooked vegetables are good for you and sometimes, things just taste better when baked or cooked. As part of our ‘non-raw’ menu, we offer baked superfood breads, warm soups, Buddha bowls (our delicious soups poured over quinoa and our infamous kale salad) and, of course, our daily quinoa dishes.
